The world of gaming technology, together with new applications such as mobile telephony have opened up many opportunities for graduates of 3D animation schools. Proper training lays the foundation for future 3D jobs.

Turn an Animation Hobby into a Career

In an ideal world we would all be paid to do something we enjoy. If you've been experimenting with 3D graphics as a hobby, you might just have what it takes to make a career out of it. 3D animation schools can help teach you what you need to know to get ahead.

Do Your Homework

If you are to put your all into your 3D animation school training and of getting one of the top 3D jobs, you need to be sure that your chosen 3D animation school can meet your needs. It is futile to try and study if you have concerns and worries at the back of your mind. Make sure you're not on the backfoot with this checklist:
  • Who? You may be lucky enough to have a choice of suitable 3D animation schools. The less expensive one may seem more attractive, but would one with a better reputation help you get started in 3D jobs?
  • Why? Sometimes it difficult to make a decision with too much information. Draw up a checklist of the things you are looking for in a 3D animation school, and check them off to help focus your thoughts.
  • What? Think carefully about your program. Do you want to specialize, or would your choice of 3D jobs be broader if you combined subjects?
  • When? There are part time, distance learning, intensive, and full time 3D animation school programs available. Weigh up the cost in terms of time and money that you can afford. If you find you cannot pay your fees then the whole exercise is a waste of time.
  • Where? The location of your 3D animation school is important. Do you want to be close to family and friends back home? Can you meet the travel costs?
